"The 2018 cross country season was a successful one in many respects. Numbers have continued to grow for the Montezuma cross country program as we had 15 high school runners and 12 junior high runners this past year. Our junior high runners showcased a great deal of growth as they competed together as a team, winning three meets and individual and team girls conference titles. On the high school end, I was blessed to have a group of hard-working athletes who were focused on becoming their individual best. This determination led to many new personal best times as well as new Montezuma records on a handful of courses. The team looks strong and poised for continued growth and success entering 2019!" -Head Coach, Kevin Gartman
